Fruit Salad
Any choice of fruits can be used. Toasted grated coconut is optional, but it gives a tropical taste to the salad. Nuts too can be added.
Ingredients
1 cup papaya chopped into cubes
1 cup pineapple chopped into cubes
1 1/2 cups kiwi chopped into cubes
1/2 cup grapes chopped into halfs
1/2 cup orange segments
1/2 cup berries ( blueberries, blackerries and , or rasberries)
1/2 cup pomogranate seeds
1/4 cup toasted grated coconut (optional)
1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon fennel powder
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon black salt ,or any salt
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon orange rind
1/4 cup orange juice
Mint leaves - a few chopped.
Steps
To a shallow bowl, add all the chopped fruits.
Add the honey and orange juice , give it a good mix.
Add the spice powder, half of the coconut and mint leaves . Mix well and garnish with the remaining coconut and mint leaves.
Serve cold.
